One Day Plant Identification Course

 

 

This course will start at 10am with a 1 hour break for lunch and will finish at 3-4pm

 

During the course.

 

You will be introduced to your instructors and given a safety talk, warning you of the dangers of collecting wild plants.

 

You will be taken on a 2-3 hour walk, shown a large number of wild plants, some edible, some poisonous and some for medicinal usage. It is advisable to bring a note pad and pencil to take notes and a camera.

 

There is a 1hr break for lunch. You are required to bring your own food or take a short walk into the village for a pub lunch, the choice is yours.

 

After lunch you will be left with a challenge of collecting as many plants as you can with 100% positive ID.

 

We then go over what has been talked about, and you can ask any questions you wish and check your own understanding of the plants.  (this is a major part of the learning process).
